Planning a party can be a lot of work! There’s so much to consider, so many things to coordinate!
Pizza Event takes the hassle out of the catering side of your celebration. With our flexible setups and trained Chefs and waitstaff – we make sure that you get to enjoy your evening instead of being stuck in the kitchen!
Ok so you’ve booked your caterers – what else is there to do?
I’d love to offer you some helpful tips to make sure your Event goes smoothly!
Steps to a Successful Party
Step 1:
Firstly Select a DATE – consider school and public holidays and other conflicting events and ultimately pick a date you know works for you.
Secondly start BOOKING – the sooner the better. This is especially so around Christmas time, things start being booked out months in advance.
Equally Important, Book the Guests, Book the Venue OR Book the Caterer, Book the Music, anything that needs locking in – LOCK IN
Step 2:
Choose a theme – Themes bring life to an event and are a fun way to get your guests involved. At the very least you should decide on a dress code to set the tone.
For Example – A Kids Party might suit a Carton Character Theme
Similarly a 40th Party might suit a “James Bond” theme
Step 3:
Invite your guests – for fancier events consider the old fashioned way and physically mail guests their invites. For more laid back events, Facebook helps reach everyone, and keep track of who’s coming. Don’t forget if there’s a theme to encourage your guests to start preparing their costumes
Step 4:
Decide on a menu – Pizza Event has several packages to meet everyones catering needs. We provide unlimited service so none of your events will go hungry. However, some hosts like to provide snacks or a dessert option.
Step 5:
Organise Entertainment – sometimes you want to provide that extra element of excitement to your party. Things like balloon artists, dancers and live music are always winners.
Step 6:
Music – you absolutely must have MUSIC! It sets the tone and gets your guests in the mood. Don’t forget to be considerate of your neighbours.
Step 7:
Plan your space – we only require a 3m x 3m space to set up our Live Mobile Pizzeria in the heart of your event – leaving you plenty of space for your snacks, bar and music.
Step 8:
Are you going to have a bar? – Planning ahead how much you want to spend on drinks, especially if it’s alcohol, can save you a lot of headache. Then you need to decided on where to put it!
Step 9:
Will there be cake?– Don’t leave serving it too late if you do, you’re guests will be too full of pizza to enjoy it 🙂
Step 10:
Decoration – there are so many affordable and fun ways to add colour to your event – no matter where you set up.
Events can be stressful, but with some careful planning, they can be fun and easy on the night – even for the host!
